GROZA ATTACHMENTS

Everything to Know About PUBG's Groza

PUBG's newest assault rifle is absolutely deadly, firing fast and hitting hard. Here's how to get it.

PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS is constantly pushing out new content and adjusting its features based on player feedback. With its latest update, which rolled out in June, comes a slew of balance changes -- and most interestingly, a new weapon. This shiny new toy is an assault rifle is called the Groza, and it will likely be very popular for what it offers as part of a player's arsenal.

What Does the Groza Do in PUBG, Exactly?

This assault rifle takes 7.6mm ammo and can hold 30 bullets per mag -- each of which will pack 48 base hit damage. It has two firing modes: single-fire and fully automatic. The fully automatic mode boasts a pretty fast firing rate, with just 0.080s between shots.

The Groza is incredibly lethal at close to mid-ranges, boasting some impressive accuracy. That makes it a great choice for players who often find themselves battling it out inside of buildings and other close-quarter situations.

Dealing the same damage as the AKM and boasting the second-highest rate of fire of all assault rifles, only bested by the M16A4, it can turn the tables around for whoever is lucky enough to get their hands on this rare weapon, particularly in the final stages of the match.

MAGAZINE

While this weapon could be deemed overpowered, it has one major drawback: an abysmal reload time of 3 seconds when performing a dry reload. It is therefore advised to not empty the entire magazine, however its rate of fire in a firefight may make this rather difficult, so the next best option would be checking that the area around is secure enough to warrant a fresh magazine in the gun. Quickdraw magazines can also help mitigate the long reload time. Other drawbacks are its inability to accept foregrips of any kind, or any telescopic sights stronger than a 6x scope, reinforcing its use as a close-quarters weapon. Backing this up is the fact that the only muzzle attachment it can take is a suppressor.

These flaws only serve to represent the power of the Groza, and it is therefore advised to prioritise players using this weapon, especially when there are less than 10 players alive. The long reload time can be seen as an opportunity to move in for the kill, provided that the target doesn't have a backup weapon such as a Saiga-12K.

The Groza will deal maximum damage out to 80 meters, decreasing to its minimum at 490 meters.

TYPE

PUBG Mobile has a wide variety of firearms to knock and kill foes. The game has an option for customisation of weapons to a certain extent, in the form of attachments, which are applied for enhancing and making guns more lethal. Firearms are divided into various classes or categories, like AR, SMG, LMG and so forth, with each having its own unique features.

Groza is one of the better ARs in PUBG Mobile, and is only present in airdrops. The gun uses 7.62mm rounds, and has a magazine size of 30 bullets. Players prefer to use it because of its higher fire rate and decent damage.

Best attachments for Groza in PUBG Mobile

Attachments are an essential aspect of PUBG Mobile, and help enhance the ability of the gun and improve certain aspects. Groza has three slots for attachments, and let's take a look at the best attachments for this gun.

Muzzle: The peculiar thing about the Groza is that in the muzzle slot, only a suppressor can be attached.

Scope: Scopes are a matter of preference, and players can attach any of the scopes. Players can use a 4x scope, as the gun is most-commonly used for mid-range combat.

Magazine: Quickdraw Extended Mag is recommended, as it reduces reload time and increases magazine capacity of the gun.
